Sj acting up

I was riding the ski yesterday and subed it and went to dry it out at full throttle then womp ,stopped with a quickness. trying to start and crank then buh crank buh .crank crank crank buh ..u get the picture ..any ways started to check some things and looked like my skis fuel filter was not getting full ?? Crank and it fired ran then womp stopped like it did after the wide open run ..I get it home check the check valve on the tank .I blew air in and no air should come out right ?? Tank should have pressure right or is it the other way around .the second thing I checked was the start and stop switch .on the landyard switch the little plunger was loose should it be ??

Comp is fine .it's like it's not getting gas or cdi or start stop switch is acting up might be a combo of everything

But my first question is how much pressure should your tank have .if I blow into the check valve on tank and take gas line off it comes out ok but if I fire the ski up the filter doesn't seam to be full . there is a tiny amount of air coming out but I mean small ..check valve bad??
Witch brings me to my other problem the little trigger on the landyard inside of the start stop box is loose should it be ..is that why my ski doesn't want to fire half of the time and just random kill it or should the trigger be loose so it can hit the stop button if u pull the landyard easier

the tank does not need to be pressurized, it will run with the gas cap off. that check valve is just to let air in the tank to displace the vaccum from the missing fuel. it has more to do with beign a closed fuel system and fumes free floating around your engine bay.

tight and loose are relative, one might seem tight, but it might just be because the last one you had was a total slut.

I would leave all that stuff alone for now and turn the high speeds out a full turn and see if it still happens

ive never been to Kentucky but my guess is that its getting colder everyday?

Sudden stops are almost always electric. Start by checking all I mean all connections and grounds including in the Ebox. You could always replace the start, stop, kill switch and go from there. Any time you have erratic gremlins you have to start at any chosen point and 100% eliminate each possible cause. Erratic Gremlims are the worts and most expensive kind. Jumping all around just makes the gremlins happy and you more distraught.

If you think it's fuel check the pickup line and tank then go down the line.
