SXR SJ coil work in a SXR?

I bought a coil and boot caps on ebay, it showed up yesterday (looks like my stock one, but its a little lighter) and I put it in my e-box and insulation on the wire seems thinner and not as tight in the caps that come out of the ebox. I looked on the bag and crossed out in black marker is SJ 650, 701 and something I can't make out.

My questions is can I run it on my stock 06 SXR? with out issues?

Yah, it'll work. It's the same coil, different wires.
The SXR assembly is better (for the wires), imho

Yeah the wire do seem chincy, compared to the SXR wires.

in canada the kawasaki coil is 3o dollars cheaper than the yamaha, same part

The coil will work but the spark plug boots may not. The sxr needs resistor boots to work with the DC CDI. Use the boots off your old coil.

Hmmmm....it came with a set of red boots, how do i know if they are resistor boots or not. I will use my old ones if you guys say so.
