SJ finger throttle screw size

Does anyone know the size of the threads in the screw that holds the finger throttle in place on the handle bars. I cant get my grips off so i cant bring it in to the store.

Can you find anything screw the same thread size/pitch on the ski and take it to the hardware store to get the correct screw?

If I'm not mistaken the start/ stop switch uses the same size and pitch screw

It is not the same thread as the stop start switch

Your picture shows a stock Yam throttle. It is kept from rotating by screwing a small capscrew ( with built in washer) thru the hole and into the stock handlebar. I think it is as yamabro indicated : 5mm x about 12mm long.

It wasnt m5 either. Its an m6 with a thread i dont have laying around. Just going to a/m throttle
