SJ parts

I thought I read once upon a time that the RRP pole is not an original design by RRP. Don't quote me on that because I really can't remember or know for sure but inline with jetx, the KP pole is really solid. I bought one a few years back and love it. I couldn't justify the ridiculous price of the RRP parts especially when considering they make things oversees. I believe their hulls are made in Thailand? I would imagine their parts are too or at least some of them are. Either way, don't concern yourself of who copies what, look at the end of the day expenses. If someone else can produce an equal or maybe? superior product of the same design for a lesser pricetag, then it answers two things, the originator of said item is just looking to soak us for as much as they can, and two, they already are paying much less for production of something oversees, they can be reasonably priced and compete with others, they just don't want to. Those companies I avoid like the plague because they're partially why our sport stays small, people see a questionably high pricetag on something and choose not to bother. We almost had an event coordinator come here to setup a freeride event but he assumed all liabilities as the lead role and his location options were limited, waterfront was all rocks. I told him he might find it hard to get freestyle guys willing to try and beach near rocky shoreline. I told him to look up freestyle ski prices to understand why, the first one he found was a Thrust built Rickter with a $32k pricetag on it lol. I told him that's not the norm but 10-16 seems more commonplace for a built machine. He nearly had a litter of kittens over that price range on a standup lol. He never did get back to me on if they had a freestyle event or not. But the point is, others are doing the same as RRP for less. RRP just has google paid off to show their name first on a freestyle ski it seems because that's the first one he found, and they're priced to a scary enough number deterring people from being interested.

Trust me (you can search my old posts) I am no fan of the overpriced hulls and components and what they've done to the sport or adjustable handlepoles for that matter giving people the ability to run their pole way to short turning their ski into a backflip only machine but I got an RRP pole when they first came out after breaking my UMI and it held up for 5 or 6 years of very hard riding in the surf..Dont know if I want to take a chance on one that's relatively untested as far as I know.. Also if you are going to copy just change it slightly at least..aside from being welded instead of cast it looks almost identical

Still need billet couplers a billet hood latch and an RRP pole with full length tubes that’s not the same price as new. Looking for cast in the original black with clear tubes. I sold my old rrp pole for 550$ shipped don’t see why they are so much now
