sj starting issues, no spark

need some advice here, had the ski for 2 months and its been broke for 7weeks now. i sent the ebox to be cleaned rebuilt along with a rebuilt switch. i started up last week and i got it to fire once yesterday, i have re checked every connection, brand new battery, disconnected the black and white wires coming off the switch, i am still not seeing any spark off the plugs, do i have a stator issue???? even if i take it to the shop i am now a month away from riding with thier backlog,

use an ohm meter and check the resistance for the wires to your stator, i dont know the specs to compare against, but you need to check them before you go and pull the stator, so at least you know what part of the stator is not working, if any.

Make sure you're not chasing your tail with fouled spark plugs. If they look a bit dirty etc on the ends, change them for new ones so you know for sure they aren't fouled.

From there, I would usually check for continuity in your start stop switch wires. You'll have to take the pod apart to get access to the contacts, and your electrical box to get at it from the other side. If all is within spec (going by the manual diagram on the start/stop switch) throw a multimeter in each side of the plug wires. The connection could be too poor to discharge the spark down to the plug connector.

Swap the CDI for a known good one, although this is rarely a problem. Check for continuity on the stator wires, especially the red/white. Make sure you have everything connected properly in the electrical box (ie make sure you dont have the brown/white wire plugged in the brown wire or the red/white wire plugged into the white).

If none of that gets you anywhere, report back here with what you've done, and I'm sure a few more suggestions can be made.
