Got one on my sn and I'm happy with it. I would guess it depends on your level of mods. Bolt ons .....yes. Monster big bore powervalve billet stroker....probably not.

Hooker going in tonight maybe. Been running the swirl for about 5 years. There is no better in my opinion when comparing Skat or Solas

ive heard good and bad on the hooker,post up your results,Ive never heard a single bad comment about a swirl prop 13/17 14/18. Ive rode all 3,but on diffrent skis so hard to compare fair.but the swirl was way better than the concord,verdict still out on the hooker

I have a swirl and a concord, both cut back by Impros. I can't tell a difference.

let the boat drop to a nice steady idle in the water.......then mash the throttle with each prop..
the concord will have an ever-so-slight hesitation right off the bottom......the skat will just rip right out
going to try and swap a skat 12-17 in for the 13/17 I have on the F1 tonite...
Mcdog...I haven't tried Brande's ski but your ski most certainly has that slight hesitation when I mash the throttle. Maybe my riding style brings it out and your riding style hides it a lot better... Don't know what the root cause is but I always thought it was a carb issue until I started reading a lot of posts on the concorde props and then it started to make sense.

I had the skat 13/17 with a stock 701 with a pipe and it worked great. Its still in there with the 760 but I havent got it tuned correctly yet and waiting on antoher part to come back before I can continue.

you got it!
with the "right" riding style it will become more evident......
the hesitation will be similar to that of a carb that is a bit too lean..

I have tried several different props over the years, nothing has touched the swirl. But, I have no doubts about the hooker being at least as good or better.
