P.S. The SS865 engine is now a SS900 for 2012, so a new ski will have the new engine package and this hull will work both flat and surf. This ski package was demo'd at Daytona Freeride '11 and at the World Finals '11.

I'd mirror jetmaniacs ski. Superfreak with a JM/B 781BB. You can run the stock gas tank and ignition, longer rides and the motor is more reliable. Not to mention ripping the surf and flatwater backflipping, best of both worlds.

Can run a stock tank, reinforced hull can easily be used in surf as well, and still pull off flat water backflips, all for much less than your 20k budget, and still be a very low-mainentance set up.

wait till world finals in havasu. im sure there will be all the skis your interisted in and with that kind of budget you could get just about all the best stuff
