Ski on back of my boat

I think I am going to turf the whole platform and setup hooks and/or bunks for the ski. Seems like a shame to turf teak but that will be easiest on the ski.

Why ruin the teak? Why don't you just create a little platform you could bolt up to the platform and turf that? Or better yet just do a PVC bunk?

I've been considering boats with the old school teak swim platform just for this purpose - put the ski on back and head out to the backside of the lake for some good wake sessions.

J I would love to see this...You hauling the Q on the back of a boat that looks just like the Q. Haha!

Maybe I'll get it all the way around NEXT time....

I wouldn't do a black boat out here in the AZ sun... too hot to sit on. Maybe when the Q gets a makeover I could match it up to the boat though.

lol this was 5 years ago so sadly no. but the waters we were taking it down had big cruiser waves everywhere. hence why i int ride it to the bay we used to party in lol.

I built a simple platform with Home Depot wood and some carpet to avoid damaging my teak...but i dont dare to plane with my ski on the platform ; i just go at around 10 mph until my riding spot.

I have always wanted to carry a ski on my platform of my wake setter but didn't want it to break. We have had about 7 adults back there.View attachment 262764
I have a similar boat. But a teak swimstep. I'm thinking I'd rather tow the jetski than carry it, maybe tow it sitting in a modified inflatable boat of some kind.

That Tsunami is Badass! But I'm not sure my 21' Vride is a good fit for doing it regularly.
