Not really a toy but still cool
My mom picked this up for me in Georgia .
Spark plug for a motor and a nut for the pump, nozzle.

I'm slow at work. Challenge accepted.

A few more pics of the 450 outrunner, the 300 size outrunner didnt hold up on 3s more than 30 seconds. I couldnt handle the white/blue color and had to go kawi green with it, looks way better now and my son loves it.

This is the boat I built last summer, Its got a huge brushless outrunner motor and runs on 3s lipo. The boat started as a $50 kids toy that maybe did 5mph tops and hardly turned. It flat rips now and will prob do closer to 30mph. Not bad for a jet pump

Did you change the pump any, or just upgrade the motor?

haha, i dont understand how it even flies lol!

You ever stick your hand out the window? Same thing it's a plate wing it's not really capable of straight and level flight it's always going at a +- 1°.. "conventional" how airplanes fly on low pressure created by the curved surface of a airfoil is not the only way to fly.

That's awesome SXIpro I am also curious about the pump I see you added a bilge..

The pump was cleaned up for better flow. swapped it to a flex shaft with brass bearings to support the high rpm. scrapped the plastic intake grate and added a stainless grate. added a line to the reduction nozzel for forced water cooling on the esc. The brass outlet on the back is the cooling line pisser. They make a 28mm pump for large scale boats that fits but you really gotta hack up the hull to make it work, I wanted to keep it simple and cheap for now. If my son gets into it I'll upgrade the pump to use the power better. With this motor and a 28mm pump it would damn near flip over backwards from a stop. The stock 19mm pump dosent hook up well from a dig. Its fine for goofing off but could be better.

Thanks! I have a jetski model that I want to power this way. I think this pump will work fine for my purposes.

Which model do you have? If its the old ABC hobby jet drive one the pump in it is actually better than what I'm running. I believe its a 21mm pump. If not you can pick up the pump I have from ebay for about 15 bucks or 30 for one that is already modded. The 28mm one is about 80 and getting hard to find. Let me know if you need any help on your setup, It can be done pretty cheap if you get the right stuff. Lipo's are key, they really help with high amp draw from the jet.
