I finally got my ski together motor assembled by art at jetworks. Dual 46 bj cars jetted by him. I have played with screws either way (high and low) I finally got it running well but only runs great for 10min or so then motor jisst bogs and won't clear up

Check if your tank check valve is working.
After it starts running poorly, pull the gas cap off. Do you hear air rushing in?

i agree with everyone esle, and make sure you dont have a small exhaust leak somewhere cause that can cause the motor to cut out after awhile

Tried the check valve. Didn't change the outcome. Check over the exhaust everything seems to be sealed. Plugs look great. I am not running the head heat sensor I just have it ziptied up. Would that have anything to do with it. Its not near heat.

FOUND A PROBLEM RECENTLY with mine that was similar. pulled great from 0-3/4 throttle and then nothing. sounded like a rev limiter. seems that fuel pressure in the system was forcing a steady floe of fuel from my primer at high rpm.

Well I am not running a primer. I have 46mm bj carbs on 701 ported 84mm pistons jetted by art. I am not running any restrictors. Two return into one in tank

A bad coil can do something similar to that. It'll run great until the coil gets worked up and then it craps out. Usually when I had a coil problem, I could let it sit for 20-30 minutes and then get another 5 minutes of riding before it crapped out again.

I'm going with a failing stator myself, had one on my wifes ski a couple seasons ago and took some time to figure out. The ski ran perfect up until when it didn't. If it sat long enough it would fire up and run perfect again.

I swapped out the Riva CDI for a MSD and it ran again for a couple more rides before acting up again. Finally sent the stator out to JSS to be reworked and it ran flawlessly the rest of the season till i sold the engine and swapped the stator into my X-scream SS865.

Here is what I found...had the ski in the water and 2 of us held it. Water comes shooting up like a fountain between headpipe and head and also on the side. This is on the rear piston. So I think its safe to say that's one of my problems. So hopefully that will fix it when I add a new gasket and retorque
