I plan on dragging my skis right to my door and cabling them together with my gas cans. I'll bring my tools and such inside. It'd be hard to move three skis all at once.

Honestly ,the safest place to leave it is right on the lawn at the Makai.
with all the party animals up all night no one would attempt anything .

I left my ski there for 8 days the last 3 years in a row .

yup...IM planning on taking mine down wedsday, putting them on the lawn on totes and there they will sit for the entire weekend

Would you leave your ski on the lawn of the Makai if you weren't staying there?
I'll be down at the Conference Center. It makes me nervous to just leave it a mile down the beach where I can't see it.

yeah i wasnt sure if i was going until a couple days ago... all three of the hotels right there(makai, driftwood, coral) are no vacancy as of today.

i got a room at the comfort inn down the block about a 1/2 mile.

i wouldnt feel comfortable leaving my ski there, but then again this is my first daytona trip so i dont know what to expect really.
