Stock SJ dry is 132 KG

WOW 151 Kg that is a bunch. Is is a kawasaki?

I thought mine was a huge turd but it is only 147.3
Here is how it was when weighed.

ADA cylinder
AC pole
7 layers of paint and coutles layers of clear
A water jacketed B pipe so it is like having 2 pipes
Front exhaust
Heavy R&D steering nozzle and trim
Aluminum gas cap
Huge stock battery
Tool kit
fire extinguisher
just over 1/2 tank of fuel

I can't wait until it goes on a diet

so if i can get my ski under 140kg im on the right track, whats the best way to loose the weight,
i suppose loose the oil tank and small fuel tank is the first step,
my alloy pole is a lot lighter than the stock one and ive lost all the side rails ect ,
ill try and weigh mine the week end , hopfully it not to bad ,

What ski are you riding? We are talking about Superjets. they are the most freestyle friendly ski out there (in stock form) So it is not all about loosing weight you have to increase your power to weight ratio. Loosing weight is one way to do it but most people increase the power also which helps the ratio.

A smaller fuel tank isn't going to do anytthing to help save weight just don't put as much fuel into your stock tank.

With a half of tank of fuel mine weighs 151.953 kg  :grumble:

That's so not good.... My 750 weighs 134kg or 295 lbs with everything except no fuel or water in the pipe/waterbox.

But in answer to the original question. In standard form an SJ weighs around 290-300 lb dry, an SXR weighs around 350-360 lb dry. Most freestyle ski's weigh a little more than stock because add a bunch of reinforcement, aftermarket parts, etc. However, there are many people that lighten their ski's too so it varies a lot by who the owner is. A professional freestyle boat is probably in the 250-270 lb range but you have to remember that those guys are running carbon everything but have massive engines that weigh more than your average stock engine.

repaired 5 times? why did you have to repair it? Was it your fault or was the hull just too thin/weak? or what?

as he stated it is a flat water hull he rides in the surf and it kept cracking in front of the pump shoe it has not cracked since i fixed it i went with the theory it did not have to look pretty justy vac baged down 7 layers of carbon
