Slide bike gone wrong!

It's not quite dirt, but its still a dirtbike.. heres a quick clip of my slide bike practice I did yesterday at work that I thought you guys might like. Came in a bit too hot and didn't quite turn in enough before layin it down. Thankfully neither I or the dude I smoked got hurt!

Vids off a cellphone so not great quality and I dont have the original to put it in slowmo.

Oh damn. I just heard about this today, Im glad you both are ok. Jelly Bean sounded calm about that, haha. Took Noddy right off his feet! If it was going to happen at least you guys got it on video. A little too much coffee that morning? Wrong gear?....... Came in a little hot there bro. :twak::stups:

what were you suppose to do???

Im suppose to do what i did... Just turn a bit more to the left so i dont hit the fence. The metal grate u can see going across the cement right where i start the slide is a propane line so in the show we slide the bike out through a wall of fire. Im wearing two sets of leathers and a bunch of plastic sliders, so it doesnt hurt at all, i could barely feel hitting the fence. Now for the other guy... He shoulda just been payin attention, but luckily was wearing full shin/knee guards and braces so he was alright. Its actually a lot of fun.

Actually the faster you come in the easier it is and the lower you can get the bike before you actually drop it, so easier on your body and easier on the bike. Although I did come in a bit faster than I needed to, if i just went a bit more left the slide would have been perfect. The bikes locked in second gear so you dont have to worry about that.

That's pretty sweet dude! I'm impressed you aren't hurtin more from hitting that fence. That stuff always seems to feel worse than it looks, but I guess it's all about having the right gear! Cool vid
