Freestyle Slides and 180s

Hey guys,

I am new to the jet ski scene..like I just bought my first ski about 3 weeks ago. I have a 90 300SX...and while it may be a tad small by most, It is mint condition and it runs great! I have a quick question, I saw somewhere that when sliding or doing a 180, that you are suppose to let off the throttle when the pump breaks loose...because it will tweak the driveshaft when it hooks back up???? Is this true?

Never heard that.
Only thing thats gonna happen is the motors gonna spin cause theres no load. Then when you draw water back into the intake the prop will 'grab'. I doubt that it will hurt the drive shaft, but maybe its tiny on a 300... I say ride it and don't worry about it.
