Never heard of that... I'm pretty sure they come as a set.

i give slippery 2 thumbs down. Wont buy it ever again. My vest is less than a year old, torn up already, and it wasnt abused. My wakeskate shoes also ripped bigtime.

you know, it is actually funny, people buy running shoes and replace them about every 6 months or so if actively used, where as jetskiers buy shoes, run them for a season, bitch about them not holding up........... guess what, this sport is rough on gear, it gets wet, sits there to dry, gets wet again............ on and on, put up wet, then gets really hot in a truck or tool box etc.............. then wet again............... ROT..................

If you get 1-2 seasons out of your gear you are doing good............ this varies on use and abuse.............

I'm am so glad somebody finally said this. Thank you BK:cheer: Gear gets used & abused just like the skis.

With that said, I do love my slippery gear. It has held up a lot longer than my JP gear I used to have. Never heard of being able to buy the jacket & john separately though. Cool if you can.

I got 2 seasons out of my last set of slippery gear, Matrix Pullover, Reform Wetsuit......... Shoes, about 3-4 pair in same time period........... they are not going to hold up to the wear that we put on them.

Slippery Rocks............. I wonder if they will warranty a rip in a new wetsuit? Ripped my new Matrix first time I wore it at the races 2 weeks ago...........

my slippery pullover is doing great. i dont really see how they can get worn down if you properly wash it down. its the salt that kills it, makes it all hard and crusty. then dont let it dry in direct sunlight either. takes longer though...

so i can order just the matrix wetsuit jacket???

their new line up is sweet, that why i want one. just can't afford the whole sha-bang

blue - either xs or s. not sure...

i've only tried Oneil, Bodyglove, billabong wetsuits and dont know how they compare. im 5'5 125-130lbs

but i like my wetsuit tite, if you look on the slippery cataloge the guys wearing one and its got a bunch of slack and creases...there goes the whole purpose of a wetsuit retaining water...

then again i want something that'll last me as a i grow...

oh and i plan on getting the blue gloves too, thought id throw that in:Banane01:

I love my Slippery gear. The little rubber peices on the gloves are starting to peel back, and the soles are coming off my boots, but other than that I'm happy. The gloves are in good shape for average wear-and-tear, but as for boots I'm going to get some wrestling shoes for this year.

My only complaint so far with Slippery was my first pullover had a manufacturing defect. A stich didnt catch, so after the first time I wore it it pulled out, and when I rode the neoprene sleeve around the actual flotation would fill with water. I called them, and they said they couldn't guarantee a refund since it was after 30 days (first use was over a month after purchase), but that I could send it back, they would take a look at it, and decide then. I was told to just buy a new vest in the mean time and wait to hear from them. Well, I never heard back from them, so I've bought two vests and they have one. Part my fault for not calling back and checking yet, but it keeps slipping my mind. If they didn't want to refund me, I wouldn't be happy about it but I understand; however, I would like the vest I paid for.

agree and disagree.

if the equipment is wearing through over a season or two from lots of wear and rubbing ok, but if you are having seams come out and such just from wear within a couple monthes, thats bad quality.

running shoes are replaced because the cushioning simply breaks down, not because the shoes fall apart. i've never once had a good pair of running shoes come apart on me.
