Little things can sure make a big difference!
I went out puttering in the garage tonight and ended up shimming my handpole with a couple of stainless washers, one on each side between the bushing and the bracket.
I opened up the pole springs a little bit before reinstalling too, and now it is "precision fit" and feels GREAT! The pole doesn't slam and the whole thing just feels SOLID.
