My favorite new glue is Gorilla Glue 5 minute epoxy. And, thankfully it doesn't foam up and expand like a lot of the other Gorilla glue products.

Re-attached mine with 921FS... Similar to 5200 but dries quicker

Edit: it's marine silicone, could be designation 920FS as well..I checked it's 920

How long has it lasted? I've used superglue for temporary bond. I think to do it up right it need to be split in half and both sides roughed up but I can't do it till i know what will permanently fix her.

2 years since the repair or longer, I did split it completely open, clean the clear silicone they used origional when made, scuffed up and glued with the 920...

i thnik I used too last time....and I fixed a pair of shoes

We had the same issue, I used 5200 to fix it and it has lasted 3 years now.

I roughed it up, used DAP weldwood cement. Holding up just fine.

920 dries over night.. I ran out of it and bought 5200 then saw it says takes 7 days to dry wtf.

Really, you guys know they make a fast cure 5200. It's still about 24hrs but it's rock solid but still flexible

I've always had good luck with contact cement. Same stuff I use to glue Hydro Turf
