Smokes more, is it normal

Hi Guys

SXR 800, with Skat track Intake grate and factory Wet Pipe, Flame trumpets arrestors removed, 80 Low jets. 152 High jets. Oil Mix 50:1

After installing the Factory pipe and the jets I noticed that she is smoking a lot more...could this be a sign that I need to back of on my High end low end screws ? or should I mix 60:1 like the owners manual says, I do mostly salt water riding.

Oh Yes, i dailed the pipe in today and she seems to run ruff just past idle but once you get to 1/4 throttle she takes of like a bat outa hell, if you punch it from idle it gets hectic. It makes me wonder how I am going to control her in the surf.. setting up for a wave. It seems she only knows one speed now, either slow or deadly fast. Closed the bottom screw a bit and opened the top one a bit. Bootom improved...should i open the top one more or should I try and sort out this last but with the low end screws?
 
I have my lower screw 3/8 open and middle closed, top closed and it rips on bottom. Throttle through the whole band not just on and offf. I run synthtic 50:1
 
Hi Subnxr, thanks for the reply. Also after putting on the Factory pipe the motor and pipe is running much hotter than the standard pipe. Is this normal. Water flows out the pisser freely when I ride it and water comes out when I flush her.

Okay now I'm completely confused, all please help on the cooling.

I have the cooling set up the way that the factory installation manual recommends and after giving one of the dealers to ask for advice he told me to change it.

Standard Setup

1. Water in Line -> Goes to bottom of Manifod

2. Bottom of Head Pipe -> Goes to the Front of the Cylinder Head and joins the fitting that has the flush line installed

3. Top of the head Pipe -> Goes to the water line out that is on the right of the bulkhead at the bottom.

4. Line coming from the back of the Cylinder Head Just before the Pisser I inserted a T Piece effectively creating an additonal point to join the pipe that comes from the small pipe on the stinger to the line that runs the pisser.
Back of Head -> TPiece -> Pisser

After chatting to the dealer:

1. Water in Line Put a T-Piece in the line that runs to the Manifold and then run the additional water line to the bottom of the Headpipe
Water in -> T-Piece -> Manifold

Bottom of Header Pipe

So what do u do with the Fiiting on the Front Cylinder and the Fitting on the top of the Header pipe (stays connected to the Pisser with the T-in) I think he mentioned that I need to insert another T into the stinger line and run it from there to this one, what connects to the Front Cylinder to cool it Down?

Now another question, should'nt the instructions that came with the install of the SXR-800 Wetpipe be the correct way of doing the cooling. After reading numerous posts I picked up that a lot of SXR owners are doing the cooling different and its not dual cooling or a Jet control valve we are talking about.
