SN bandwagon build

I've been seeing everybodies square builds so I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon with mine. I picked it up last March and have been SLOWLY working on it, so I might not get a lot of progress pics up in a timely manner. It's not anywhere near done but here's what I've got. These are the before and one of the cracks at the bond line. This hull is pretty beat up, supposedly the hull was from florida.

I sandblasted the hull to strip and clean up. I have a shortened stock rn pole from my ski I should have never sold. A one off lowered aluminum pole bracket I made years back & never used. I just cut and retapped holes in my turnplate to shorten it. Who needs a fancy turnplate anyway? Like I said the work is coming slow but it's getting there.

Thanks for the compliments on the bronco. Here's some pics of what I cut out of the nose. I then foamed , shaped , glassed , and then dug out the foam from underneath the nose. Right now it is only a very thin layer of glass on the nose. Now I have to add layers on the underside to give it strength.

wow ive never seen anyone do it like that before... that a great idea... much easier to shape and keeps the weight down instead of adding tons of foam and glass

As far as the hood goes, I didn't take much height off at all. I think I did more of a reshape of the top and take out the vents. I tried to get it to blend with the handlepole. The area for the handlepole base was a little tricky. It was cut out completely so I could tip the mount area forward and down so the handlepole would go straight up without grinding on the end of it. It was a little over engineered but it's to late now! I just hope I can beef it up properly cause you know the stress that will be on it.
