oh cool, my brothers on a tight budget, and the 771 needs bored/new pistons/rings and head, but we could put the 61x 701 cylinder on the 62t cases. we got 62t electronics with the 771. How much would you want for the 38's. we would prolly need stock style 38's with single the fuel pump carb and slave carb, like whats found on 96+ SJ and a few other 701 yamaha's.

These are stock 38's off a 701 Raider, id prefer to trade for a single big carb or a single carb manifold for a 62t case. Otherwise id like to get $225 shipped, they are jetted for a b-pipe and include the factory style flame arrestor

We dont have a 62t single intake setup, that's a good deal but that isnt in his buget, thanks though!

Don't mean to thread jack here or resurrect too much here but I just grabbed the same style handle pole for my square nose.. can you tell me the make, or maker? Also do you have a spring on it? If so what style?

You can't run a spring with this type of pole, you just tighten the pole bolt down. The pole is made by a guy here on the X, but i cant remember his name right now.
