SN SJ ENGINE REBUILD!!!!!

So I attempted the coupler removal, loosing sleep over it for a couple days and it broke loose easily. I consider myself one of the lucky ones. I should have the motor 90% done tonight. everything but the flywheel and flywheel cover.

You are lucky, but use the rope trick if you have a stuck one in the future

For sure! Hopefully the old case bolts don't snap on me!! Will find that out tonight! Should I put anti seaze on the coupler for future!!

sooo true but comes with the sport.... hopefully it doesn't clog the exhaust to much but I am sure it will perform.. Totally understand your point iangdesign but was also advised to not build a 650. waste of time/money... owell, to each his own but I will get a bpipe..... any body want some 650 parts hahaha...
stock exhaust will cause detonation which can chew through a piston if given enough time. minimum you must port match the exhaust.

What kind of paint did you use for the engine? Also did you sand it down first?

You might checkout the parts section here and at pwc. A guy had some Protec exhausts for 200$ shipped.

Def need to give it a light sanding to rough up the surface! Duplicolor from napa auto parts! Gloss black roughly 3 coats. Then clear 3 coats!

I have a riva red pipe on my SN and it does pretty well. It's now Bpipe but it hits pretty well. Now you can sell the one you don't like and get a flow control valve. The fun just get's better and better. Haha!

Glad you got a pipe. You will be happy with the performance upgrade!

I will be using the mach 1 pipe because it has the water adjustments! Just need to clean it up and will be selling the other pipe! I might just put the other one on my b1 because he is sending me a b1 chamber!! Can't wait to hear this thing with the pipe!! Fun fun, money money haha!!
