Sn SJ will not start. HELP

I have a 1991 SN SJ with a 2002 700 cc engine. Yesterday, while flushing, it stopped running. Would not start again. Went back today. Changed the spark plugs and it still would not start. Checked electrical box and it was clean, no salt water. Charged battery last night. It basically just won't kick in. Feels like the plugs. I did get water in engine and elec. box few weeks ago, but I thought I fixed it. It has been running great since yesterday. Any ideas would be great.

Check your start/stop switch plugs for corrosion.
Unplug the stop switch and crank it over, if it starts and runs than plug the stop switch back in to kill the motor.

It does start, just does not turn over. Is that switch near the electrical box? I think I know what you might be talking about. Thanks.

I did do the plugs. No water. I also did them when it got water, and yes there was water in it. I got the water out and it was running great. Now, seems like it just won't fire. Turns over, but does not start.

I putthe plugs on engine, as a mechanic once taught me, and started the ski. Now it was daylight, but I don't think I saw a spark.

Will try everyone's idea tomorrow. Thks. But keep the ideas coming please. I feel I am so close in figuring it out. It would be a shame to bring to local(but great) shops here in Miami Beach. I would feel defeated.

Lets all get on the same page.

Turning the motor over: you hit the start button and the motor spins with no problem.

Starting/started the motor: Engine runs on its own and you hear brapp coming from the exhaust.

Try spraying a lil carb and choke cleaner in your cylinders through the plug holes and install plugs and wires, then try and start the engine.

I had the same problem once and this got it going.

My sons 2001 woudn't start one time, and I searched high and low for the problem - then I opened the fuse access on the E-box - water poured out. The water blew the MSD Enhancer. We bought another one, and it started right up.

You said you got water in the box a little while back. I think you may need to get a buddy to lend you a replacement cdi for a test (or put your stock one back in temporarily)

I think I have figured it and when I get home will post a pic. I have no power goi g to msd caps on top of spark plugs. However, in electrical box, I have power going to the caps. So the part, in electrical box, that is connected to spark plug caps, seems to have broken. I will post pic so everyone knows what I am talking about. The orAnge wire that goes to part has power. I checked. I also attached volt meter to both orange and black wires and they have power.
