Sn superjet to rickter

hey guys I'm looking to upgrade within the next cupple riding seasons to something freestyle. right now i have a 91 square nose superjet the hull is in good shape but it has the cleanest motor I've ever seen on an older standup. I saw the rickter starter kit on the blowsion website and was wondering if anybody has done this? Do all the part form my ski fit? Was it a complicated task to change everything? Or would it be better for my to find a different option . Tanks for the help.

What's your budget? That's one of the most important things to know here..
i figured I can put away arround 10k between now and the time I want to make the switch but I don't think I would want to spend more that 15k. I'm in Canada btw idk if that makes a difference

Might be better off saving and waiting for a deal by someone selling a used but new setup RTR. There's a few in the for sale section right now.

The starter kit is nice and cheaper than buying those parts separate. It's nice having everything new to start with especially when dropping 10k+.

Get your $$ up

Thanks for the advice

You can't build a new Rickter with new guts for 10 k, plus here in Canada you now have to add 25% minimum because of the dollar. Save your pennies, clean yours up and sell it for a good buck, and buy a good used ski, my advice!

Thanks for the sdvice that's more or less what I'm leaning to but I knew I wasn't going to get a new rickter for 10k my main concern was if the parts from my ski would fit completely into the rickter starter kit and if that would even be worth it

Yes it's worth it. these hulls ride amazing and hold up a little better than old stock junk.

You have to change out your midshaft coming from a sn superjet and maybe change your waterbox.

Spend a few more bucks on the maintenance items that could be worn out. You never know until you take everything apart and check before re assembly.

Your def gonna want a 701 with full limited setup minimum. Plus you'll need a full pole/steering setup. Along with tons of other small random parts. There's a complete used 2013 Evo for sale for 11.5 your better off buying that.

I built my ski from as many new parts as possible i wish I coulda done it with only 10k lol

Ya that was another concern of mine if the 650 was going to be just too small of a engine. How much did it cost you to buys your ski if you don't mind me asking ?

Lol ya I signed up yesterday but thanks for trying.

I sold my 2008 Rickter FS1 w/ JM BB 781, Lightened Flywheel, MSD Enchancer, Factory B Pipe w/ Mod Chamber, 144 Solas Mag w/ 9/15 hooker prop, adjustable footholds and RRP Pole and steering for $12,750 CDN in June in Ontario.

Its much better to buy someones well built ski than try to build your own IF money is a major factor.
