Got some more work done on the ski this weekend, we picked up a 95 Wave Raider for super cheap to use for parts. Got a really nice set of carbs and reeds from the engine, then completely stripped the hull for all the bolts, then after a few drinks we busted out the sawzall lol.

Hahaha, its not hard, just gotta prep the surface right and have some patience. I tend to lose my patience and realize that the paint job will most likely be destroyed by mid summer lol

Yeah, just make sure that you tape off the rails when you are painting, that way the turf will stick easier. Turf job on your tray looks good, it took us awhile to figure out how to get my sides done with a single piece instead of multiple cuts. What size foam did you use in your tray?

The 22 mill or whatever it is... It's an inch thick. Yeah first turf job had to use two pieces on the sides. Had it w one piece initially on mock up but I was getting frustrated w it lol so I said to he** w it at just used two pieces I sanded/scratched the tray and footholds w 36 grit to get a solid bond w the dap. I didn't pad the sides of the tray or the top of the footholds but did pad the bottom. I took a razor blade and cut the pattern for my feet but kept the pad a half inch thick. So cut the pad in half thickness wise.
