SN vs SQ pole length

Does anyone know the difference in pole length between Square and Round?
(Note: I have measured that 08+ is 50mm shorter than 96-07)
i have read lengths all over the map for squares

Building a square and need to know to make steering decision on a square

They are both really long. What decision do you need to make?

Rn cables work fine on squares, I believe they are physically shorter but have more throw. They also work fine for Frankenstein squares like mine that have been converted to RN poles

Putting a RN pole on a square. I have a 07 and a 12’ pole. Want to know what length is the square to understand what turn plate to use or OVP to make it same or close to my 14’. I like my ergonomics to be same on all my skis.

I never measured but the sn turn plate on rn pole felt longer than a stock sn system

I went to rrp steering and it's about 2 inches shorter probably the length of all stock square steering.

Why not install whatever you want and then cut the pole to match the +08 length

I'm not clear on why the length of the stock square nose pole matters.

If you want to end up in the same place as the 14 wouldn't you measure the location of the bars on the 14 to whatever reference point you want (pivot, front of tray, back of tray, not sure), stick the RN pole on the square and figure out what you need to do to end up with bars in the same place relative to that reference point on the square?

Yes. I was just trying to order parts before build.
