Snowmobile guys...where you be getting your parts?

Bought a used sled a couple months ago. Haven't owned one in 40 years. Where are y'all buying your parts these days? Back when I was a kid, it was pretty much Dennis Kirk for everything. Shopping for a belt currently but the prices are ridiculous. Anyone ever heard of or bought from V-Belt Guys? They're about 1/2 the price of everyone else, but it may be a case of you get what you pay for, or maybe it'd be fine to go with them? Input please. TIA.

Buy OEM or Gates only. Last thing you want is a broken belt to take out your clutch. Figure out your part number and do a google search. I have had good luck with eBay and depending on brand, Babbitt's or Country Cat.

What state do you live in?

What's the sled? If it's something high performance and it's gonna be seeing a lot of wide open pulls, or gonna be long ways from home, I'd get an oem belt. Plus don't want to blow one apart and ruin the speedo cable...

side note- old belts make for great spares! Don't throw them out!

It's nothing special and pretty old but in very nice shape. 2002 Polaris 600 Classic. But it is highly advanced compared to the '72 Arctic Cat Panther I rode as a kid. Heated grips, heated thumb warmers, reverse, electric start.....I feel like Thurston Howell III !

When you replace the belt. Use OEM only. Spray some Brake-Clean on both the primary and secondary, scrub them with a scotch-Brite pad, spray them again with Brake-Clean. Wipe them down with a shop rag. Put the new belt on and go!

those are nice sleds! I've always liked the edge chassis. M-10 rear suspension? That was cream of the crop back in the day.
belt should be a 3211080? and they are expensive. Check your motor mounts over really good so you don't blow the new belt,

Thank you!. Yep, M10 Suspension. And depending where I look it's either the 3211078 or the 3211080 that you mention.
