I've made 2 trips so far this year and got 670mls in. I use to make 6-7 trips a season but now I stay home more and rip around with my daugther on her 120 mini sled. Let me know if you want to go up and I can hook up up with all the info. Watch out, sledding is more addicting than skis.

i know snoscoots are the shizz! man, yamaha made some great stuff over the years. the snosport has a bit more suspension and 125cc motor. i have wanted one....uh...for the kids, since before they where born. haha. yeah the ol olympic used to have the 299cc 12hp motor but this motor is way more fun. i put the original 299cc motor cover on as a sleeper mod.

Is there a 650 SN equivilant in the sled world? Something cheapish that you can go out and have fun with, but not spend a ton upfront?

I'd look for a used 03 and up Skidoo Rev based sled. You should be able to find something for around $2500. I wouldn't mess with anything too old of you'll get beat to chit riding the 2-3ft moguls Tug gets on weekends.

Droc, Mine was the same as the one above minus the babe and all the mods, It was a 440 race sled that was trail converted, a great ditch banger 1 3/4 paddle track and 1 7/8 studs makes its hard to get stuck. The 500 is a real nice sled, its pretty much arctic cats race sled toned down for the trail but they are brand new. save your self some cash and get a retired race sled and trail convert it. It was hard keeping the skis on the ground with the 440.. super high strung. I think my clutch engaged at about 5500 rpm.

Lack of snow last season, then picked up my rn, mini and some other things. ill get another one soon, hopefully next season.. I love the 08 and newer Ski doo 600rs race sled. With any luck that will be the next winter toy. the 440s are great but they tend to be a fussy engine and like to blow up alot compared to the 600's i guess because your always on the gas.

No action photos but the weather was sooo nice. Me and my friends took the sleds to go watch the WRC Swedish Winter Rally last month. Must have been close to 100 sleds there! We had 4 F8 Snopros, 1 F8 Snopro Ext and 1 Z1 Snopro Turbo. Great fun!
