So I think reinforcement is a good idea even for flatwater...open hull!!

This happened yesterday whilst jumping some wakes. Flopped it sideways from 5-6 feet up and I heard a big POP! Thought I had broken my handle pole mount but it seemed fine so I kept riding until I noticed the bilge wasn't shutting off!

Looks like this hull will be going under the knife sooner than I thought :dunno:

It's my old square. right side right at about the middle of the hood. I'll try and get some better pics soon. I'll have to try some duct tape. Honestly hadn't even thought of that!

grind it, mix up some 404 and epoxy, fill it and forget it until you can get to tear it down

My friend duct tapped his ski once. It makes a sweet bandage!

Well I gorilla-taped that beotch. Been out riding several times now and it seems to hold out the water fine. I think I'll be good for the rest of the season as long as I don't flop it on that side again and spread the crack.
