So, how do these turn the ski off when you fall?
They don't turn the ignition off.. your lanyard still is used to kill the ignition. these allow you to flip or rotate their levers to restart your engine quickly. then when you have a chance are planed out and ski is under control, you reattach your lanyard clip to its original position. pushing the quickstart lever out of the way allowing the stock lanyard to do its job should you fall again.

Sounds like one hell of a law suit for the people making these. Some one is bound to misuse it and not want to take responsibility for their actions when their ski torpedoes something or someone.
That's the main reason ours is not for sale yet (Lava Storm Firestarter). We've spent most of our time figuring out the legality issues and risks.

So many people ride with a zip tie already. During a 5 min heat at a competition you don't have the time to fiddle with your lanyard if you pull it out during a maneuver. The quick start is a great idea at least you can start out with your lanyard.

Yeah its kind of funny if you ask me, its a little like the twin tube poles (RRP i guess was the first) When the first comes out, everybody makes them :) And the other side is, some parts gets people in the red line if another guy/company makes a similar or copy of - and other stuff dosent matter. But anyway its always cool to see new parts on the market :)

Home made. Not enough room on the bars for something that clamps to the bars.

Thats what im talking about!

I do like the firestarter.

Could you just put a label on it that says for testing and diagnostics only? Or maybe closed course use only? Kinda like how a "test pipe" is only to test if the vehicle runs better without a clogged catalytic converter. And kinda like how superjets are sold anyways.. closed course only lmao
