Seriously though, have made it clear i'll take a shark over a gator any day, but why did they kill it? That's like killing john isner! Why couldn't they catch it and let it have a new home, somewhere safe?

LAKE MARION, SC (WCSC) -Alligator hunting season is in full swing in South Carolina with a Senaca man nabbing a huge beast on Lake Marion.
It weighed in at a remarkable 756 lbs and measured 12 feet in length.
Jordan Patrick from Tale & Scale Outfitters says they used a crossbow to harpoon the gator before dragging him to a sandbar and loading him up on the boat.
He says it took about 30 minutes. They're planning to have it stuffed and mounted.

Yes, we used to "hunt" them at night on the river up in Jacksonville, catch them and let them go (funny stories...). I agree with you though; that stuff right there terrifies me more than any gator or shark! She was such a beautiful girl too, so sad!

Lakes-If a gator does not get you then there is brain eating amoeba and then high coliform in lakes from the houses around the lake on leaking septic tanks...So to ski in lakes and be safe from all this you need an armoured dry suit, nose plugs and a mask...

I don't like when my lake freezes, but it's better than sharks and gators.

doesnt it suck? but by my house they have snowmobile drag races on the ice on the weekends
