Freestyle So whats next?

I have a few basic mods done to my ski. MSD enhancer, prop, grate, red pipe.. I'm ordering a b-pipe this week. The head has been slightly milled. I'm at approx 150 psi (4,600' elev). I'd like to get a little more punch out of it without spending a ton. I'm hoping the b-pipe helps some. What would you do next? Billet head with increased compression (I'd like to stay with pump gas)? Thx

Bumping your compression a bit would be the cheapest way to get a little better bottom end snap. The B-pipe may have slightly better bottom end than the Red Pipe but overall the performance isn't very different.

EDIT:
If it were me I would buy a girdled head and have it ported, not sure on the head mount for the red pipe though...

That's interesting on the red pipe. So you would leave it? Obviously if I don't have to spend 800 bucks on a pipe that won't provide me any significant gains then that'd be cool. I've had several guys on here tell me the b-pipe is alot better. I myself don't know a damn thing about the b-pipe other than what I've read.

I've had both and really the only things I didn't like about the Riva was that it made a pain to pull the head and installing it perfectly is critical.

If it were me I would spend the money on gas.

That's great info! It's good to hear from someone who's had both. My ski had it when I bought it. It seems to be mounted correct and it run quite well. I need to tune the carbs a little better. It was setup for lower elevation so it's a little fat where I'm at. Thanks for the input. I'm gonna do another post on the head. Thx
