Shows are very Rewarding.. When kids come up to you and want a poster and an autograph. Its priceless fun ! :headbang:

I heard that marage stoped doing one of their shows and just didn't pay their employees any of their money they had coming... maybe just a rumor. I don't really care for Dice to much, always fighting to get our money from them. Make sure you study your contract very well. Espically insurance and if your injured if you still get paid or not.

I work for WSSI at Universal and have had really good success, but I have been offered positions at some of the other shows and have always turned them down after reviewing the contracts.

I worked a show in Nashville for WSSI

parrdaddy, Dollar Bill and conzi_dv8 have also worked many shows for different companies. They have far more experience than me, shoot them a PM.

I loved doing the overseas shows because you get to make friends who are locals and really experience other cultures. On the other hand I've known people who were miserable because they hated the food or basically they just got homesick. The experience will be what you make it. If you decide to do it and you go into it with an open mind, you'll have fun and you'll come out of it with a new perspective on our society.

As others have said, the details of insurance and pay depend on your specific contract.

I hope that helps, but let me know if you have any other questions.

thats exactly why I want to go, I', burnt out on school right now, not giving it my all anymore, Im close minded and sheltered where I live so i think just doing something like this that is different will help alot and open my eyes a bit.

jetski shows are good. Im one of the guys that replaced highroller for dice productions. But like highroller said you have to read your contract carefully. Its fun and i enjoy the guys that i ride with but dont care too much for the production company, so make sure you do a background check on them and how they treat their emploies.

Yupp that was my spot and I just backed out of it, I decided I better stick in school and 8 months is a long time, Jimmy is a good guy to deal with he had no problem with me backing out and offered something for this summer so I think I made a good decision, btw this show is a lot more than jetskiing its a show like Serlin does at Waterworld.

Shows have been the best experiences in my life! There's nothing like traveling and like Dolla said . . .. It's what you make of it. Attitude is everything!!

A 6 month contract will totally fly by in China. I've been to the exact location that Mirage is building their show and I totally recommend it. If you have time and no commitments in the States - DO IT!
