So who is good at carbon fiber work?

Yeah I always meant to ask you about what those things were on the front of your gas tank.

I think for the mean time I will mount all the SXR 800 electrics onto a flat piece of aluminumk say 1/8" thick and mount it where the stock ebox and fuel line holders.

I still want a carbon box but this will be a lot easier for me to fab up quickly.


Also did you extend those coil wires yourself? Replace the wires completely? Or did you have JSS do it?

Yeah I did. If I mount all the electrics on a flat plate, I will most likely use an MSD selonoid. I don't think the OEM Kawie one will mount as easily to a flat plate. They have those nylon washers and rubber grommets to insulate them from the e box.

The new style Seadoo brown solenoid is the way to go its cheap and damn near bulletproof,I have yet to replace one of these.On most of the newer boats they are mounted externally and they hold up extremely well so far,they also use a Weatherpack connector for hookup.

I have one of the old style X2 boxes that only houses teh selonoid now. I haven't fooled with it much. I am tearing the boat apart this weekend. I spent way too much money this past weekend going jet skiing, out to eat, sky diving, ect.. with my girl from back home. I have the money to finish the ski but then I won't have any savings left...
