I have so far spent some on my ski an it is still not ready. I would of liked to of gone down the foothold road but I cannot really afford it right now nor do I have the ability/skill to do them any justice. I just thought a strap or two may help me on my way in a little surf. As it is, my ski is going to be a bit of a bugger to master... It's an FX1.

i got no problems getting out of my straps.
if you set them up too loose you WILL get stuck in them its more of a toe strap than footstrap. surf stance is the best way to ride in the ocean.
