Solas 12 vane pump problems

Hey guys I just bought a sxr 800 solas pump and a solas concord impeller for a 750 for my eme Ariel 8. When I tightened the impeller it wouldn't turn. The pump didn't come with any shims or spacer anyone run into this problem before

I don't know much about kawa pumps, but on Yamaha pumps you need to buy a large hub impeller to work with a mag pump. Yamaha uses a shim behind the impeller, it would bind up if you didn't. So you probably need a shim or have the back of the impeller machined on a lathe.
