I guess a "heavy" pump is ok - greater hook up off wakes?? I just know SOLAS is a bit cheaper but not too easy to source...

i may be wrong, but i think solas made the first "mag" pump. also the whole pump setup in stainless pretty much means you'll never buy another wear ring. ever. impeller will wear before it will.

I know the Octane has Solas pumps in them that were HEAVY AS HE!!!. I know a few guys sold them off and bought Skats but cant say for sure what the outcome was.

there's been a solas pump on ebay for just over a grand for the past month or so.

really? what item did you order from both of them? the stator section on skat's mag looks like poop compared to the solas's. both pumps are quite a bit heavier then a stock pump.
