SOLD: TPE 1021cc, 4mm PHP Crank Std. weight, pump gas, short block

For sale is a 2015 TPE 1021 4mm pump gas short block. Engine has roughly 35hrs of ride time on it total. She's been fogged every season.

Compression is a solid 163/165psi cold. Edit: See compression video below, cylinders topped out a 200 / 201 psi when paired with a car battery. The nominal compression this motor sees during normal operation is 185psi per Erik at TPE.

Have the TNT exhaust, MSD Pro TL, carbs, etc available as well, will be listing separately but can bundle where needed.

Hey All - I've gotten a ton of response to the motor listing. Lots of questions for more pictures, info, etc. I'll be taking more accurate compression measurements tonight with a snap-on and will post those up and get back to those who have reached out to me.

Ok, let's try this again. Here is a video of the engine being compression tested. Both cylinders have excellent compression. Both will reach 200psi under a high current car battery.

This motor is 185psi nominal from TPE for gas, but the results go to show the shape of the top-end.

As far as seasonal use in the 35hrs I listed, I did not have an hour gauge. These are estimates based on how often my wife and I are able to get to our relatives lake house. The summer of 2015, 2016, and 2017 we made roughly 4-5 weekend* visits each summer. The summer of 2018 I rode the Circus with this motor 2 times all summer, and the summer of 2019 I didn't ride it at all.

As I've made mention to those who've messaged me, the motor had a early 4 corner scare on day one due to a faulting MSD T/L module. I had Erik on the phone same day and we root caused the problem, and the motor has never suffered any compression loss as a result. I'll send photos to those who reach out.

Hey guys, that's still the story. I have two potential buyers in the Midwest and one from the east coast willing to drive in.

I've let both of them know there is a lot of interest in the motor, but am giving them priority before working through shipping the engine.

If no one pulls the trigger in the near future here I'll reengage with everyone based on the offers and will figure a plan out.

hey @mickolobe we usually ride at Lake Street Beach in Indiana if we're sticking around town. Otherwise this motor was mostly getting use in the Circus at a family's lake house outside Lake Geneva. Shoot me a PM if you're looking to ride this summer.
