I dont mind the idea of dying from a shark attack.

Speaking of that, Brittany Hamilton was here in Oceanside just recently. This girls Amazing! Not only did she Not die, She's a real inspiration to the rest of us who think we have it hard in life!

shark took her trim hand. im almost sure she will never flat water flip a ski now ! she is a great surfer and she has more balls than me because if i lost even a ounce of flesh to a shark i would never be touched by salt water again!

jaws came out in 1975 and i saw it, i was 12. living next to the ocean, that just gave me more reasons to hate water, swimming and holding my breath. nothing has changed 38 years later. i'd ride the out of that water, but i wouldnt dare ride no roach, and if i fell off, i'd be back on the ski instantly.

The bul about great whites is true. Around here the tour operators chum that does great white shark cage diving. The result a gw that associate its food with boats and humans. Recemtly a great white breached and jumped onto a fishing boat. A photo photo in the local newspaper showed 13 great whites in a straight line behind yhe breakwater in muizenberg which is a surfers paradise in cape town. Last year a german tourist at fishhoek did not abide by the flag that was out and ignored the warning signs. 5 minutes later one leg missing. Its on you tube.....

Surfed it 8 days after this attack Clean head high A frames just me and my bro, not many heads in the water for a bit after this one.

We ride just around the corner from here. Seal island is approximately 3 kilometres ride from where we launch and these big boys breach. We run into them frequently

You guys have this all wrong .... These poor guys have been swimming around bored for millions of years ... One day a couple of them were chilling out by the break and saw some dude laying it down doing flips and rolls ... They said "heck.. We cand do that ".... Some of them have gotten pretty good too ....
