Char (spousal unit) took some pictures of me and my buddies Brian & Mike riding today.
It was a very nice day, about 50 degrees.
The water was a brisk 38 degrees or so. I love my wetsuit.
Not really spectacular pics, but I'll throw em up anyhow.

Cool pics Matt!
I would not survive 2 minutes out there without goggles even riding at like 15mph.

I took swims a few times. We even stopped in the middle of the river to float for 10 minutes to chat.

Mike was wearing a drysuit, Brian an older 7mm wetsuit (that thing stands by itself) and I was wearing my new 4/3 Ripcurl.
My core doesn't even get wet in this suit.

The Good Old Days
My "attachments" went up inside just looking at those pictures.
The Titanic sunk in warmer water than that.

Guess if I had a shiny new motor I would be riding right along side.

We ride year round here in that weather. A "good" day is 50, water temp around 36-38 degrees. This weekend it's been 60+ here, water reaching about 40 so we've been in it constantly. Get some strange looks from the fisherman..
Like your buddy I also use a 7mm dive suit. Feels restrictive when you first put it on, but get out riding and it's golden. I can swim in the 36-38 degree water as long as I want.
Looks like a blast Matt! I'll be doing the same in about an hour!
And screw all you warm weather guys, btw. I'll be there too, just about 5 more years of this insanity and I'm heading south.

Once the water gets above 60, I ditch the wetsuit altogether.
