With some of the air in those pictures you must have landed them. Setup wakes? You have the form go with a setup wake, just have to find the happy medium on how much speed

The ones with a lot of air are off of setup wakes. On 180 hops my head barely clears or doesn't clear. But, I just can't get enough rotation on setup wakes. I get a ton of rotation with hops. But for setup wakes I get too high and land way too far forward.

I did have a 180 hop that was practically all around. I was sitting in my tray looking forward when I finished it.

Rosie, you should find the thread where I asked for constructive criticism on flips. Lots of good info in there. I started out with the same form as you, fully extended, back arched. After getting the good advice I did from Jace and a few others I started tucking during rotation and it sped up my rotation a lot. It really makes a difference, try staying tucked and whip your head back as hard as you can and you'll get them. You have enough height. If you're having trouble with getting more distance than height than you are going into your wake too fast, try to slow right down. Make your set up wake, turn around immediately, don't ride out too far before you turn around. If you turn back to your wake right away, you can basically stop, look to time the wake when it converges and ride up it so you get more height.

If you can find a link that would be something I would like to read as well. I felt my form was alright but would like to see the whole thing about staying tucked. I will look for it as well

Exactly what he said. in the pictures you look to be getting some height, just gotta fix that form to speed up the rotation. Do the set up he said, when you pull, pull your body close to handle pole, don't arch your back so much, just look back, and pull your body close to the ski with your feet. if you look at pictures of the big guys doing it, their knees are bent. Basically you are just tucking everything in towards the middle of the ski to speed up the rotation.
Look like fun though, I always love riding in neighborhood ponds! ha
