SX/SXi/SXi Pro Some new stuff on my POS!

Figured I would throw up some pics of my carbon rideplate and exhaust nozzle I just finished up! Now maybe if I could get my pretty POS motor to run I could test it out! Just rebuilt it with a new ported cylinder, pistons, and seals, crank was fine. Somehow i'm getting water in my cylinder and not enough fuel through the carbs. Carbs are easy just need to lower my pop-off. The water issue has me baffled, I've checked the decking and head for trueness, changed o-rings, installed larger diameter o-rings, and checked to make sure I didn't grind thru to the water ports? I am going to 1211 the head next, if that does not work just going to junk the cylinder, get a new one and start over. Fun, fun, all because a cylinder decided to destroy it's self!

whats that white capsule thing on the waterline on that pipe? I've seen a few of those now, and don't know what they are? water restricter?

Check the gaskets from the exhaust manifold to the cyl. , I have had them leak once and it would let water back in through the exhaust port.

what kind of restricter jet? and how are they installed? where do u buy them(the restricter jet and filter) I've got a FP on the way. i think my brothers dry FP on his SJ has what u have on urs...

I am going to check that tonight, I am pretty sure thats where its coming from. The new gaskets had very large water holes, I bet its leaking around them. I port matched the cylinder to my already large port exhaust manifold, didn't leave a lot of surface area!
 
It's a dry pipe thing

any pipe will benefit from a restrictor going to the stinger, I use a adjustable ball type valve from home depot. Ideally you want a flow control valve so it regulates water to stinger at low speeds to keep the waterbox dry but still lets water through at high rpms. I'm just to cheap lol.
