WARNING: This paint job kicks ass

ALMOST done assembly, just have to put motor in.
Started in Nov with glass work, motor rebuild etc. but mostly a LOT of time in the paint booth and even MORE time sanding.......
I WANNA RIDE!!!!!

Xotic Colours paint along with gold and silver leaf.

It's a fighter plane theme (the basic paint is based off a Messerschmidt camoflage pattern).

ALL paint except the text on the kill flags and the "Sit to Ski, Sit to Pee" on the hood. Those are vinyl.

I'm just pleased as punch ;-)

Here's the motor. +6 Stroker Big Bore Lamey (about 830cc). Tried to get all the hoses and wires tucked away.

Just ordered some parts for the RRP pole: the bushing so I can run it tight, and I'm also going to run a spring.

Oh, and for the pole: I have at least 8 hours in sanding, buffing and polishing the aluminum tubes :smashfreakB:

Almost 10 months for the whole project.... (had a couple re-do's on the paint back to primer)
