It's a titanium Jones, from Ashland, Oregon. It's got no suspension and only 1 gear. I got bit by the mountain bike bug after I quit competing in Freestyle, 10 years ago.

I really wish I had gotten into this back then. What a fantastic cross training tool!

I actually have 5 mountain bikes. All pimp, high end stuff.

Here's the thing...I thought about hanging up my wetsuit a few weeks ago. I even threw my trusty old starship up on Craig's list.

I figured that either I'm done with playing in the water altogether...or...I sell off some of my bikes and build a new boat.

Hence, the Sophie's choice reference.

But, I gotta say...I've had so much fun playing on the old boat the last few weekends. I just don't think I'm ready to call it quits.
