I think that'll be a bit frowned upon but there's not much idling to get out anyway so probably easier to just ride it and make adjustments from there

We should start a groupme or text chain for those of us around st clair. Just put the finishing touches on my ski and I'm ready to ride. How is metro beach for riding, does anyone else put in there? Would also be willing to come up to Deckers (just twice as far) or really anywhere to ride with a group.

I like that idea! Metro is hit or miss I went there Saturday but didn't even drop in because it was so crazy out there. I'm in the same boat as you, deckers is about 40 mins from me but we'll worth the trip it's good riding there

My buddy and I went to Deckers a few times to start last year but found that it was really cramped and parking was very limited. We started going to the North Channel DNR boat launch instead and like it alot better. Anyone ever launch from here?

I live in Saint Clair. No SJ but I have a 650sx that should be put back together in a week or so. Just waiting on some things such as bilge to arrive and install. I will mostly ride in the river between Marine City and Saint Clair during the week and around the North Channel on the weekends.

Does anyone take their skis to Jobbie Nooner?
My buddy was just asking me this the other day. The only time I was there like 10 years ago I would have been afraid to take my ski. Plus, there were so many boats that we could not get up to the island and had to tie off his boat and swim in.

I usually avoid jobbie at all costs, too many drunks and cops everywhere patrolling

I don't live in that next of the woods any more but I've rode out in Lake Orion, Anchor Bay is nice as well. I used to love buzzing the big ole yachts that would come out near Grosse Pointe. If you get adventurous, not that you can right now, heading up into Canada can be great. Grand Bend is dope and up near Georgian Bay can be great riding too.
