Yes! Plan a spring ride. This one is tricky for me too and I'd love to come. Maybe April? I don't know - depends on normal weather/waves.

I talked to campground management and they are excited we were coming back. She said she is going to talk to dnr about letting us hang up hammocks, and a few other things. She said she got a kick out of the stories the late night security guard was telling her, and that we didn't have one complaint.

We are going to keep the SFF in September every year EXCEPT 2015. Im getting married that month, so it going to be moved to oct next year.... Im working on the dates with campground management now. Will keep everyone posted.

That's awesome! We should see if they'll let us ride in the cove along where the tents were. I know it's a no wake zone, but if we have all the campsites around that area then it shouldn't be a problem for others. If they are worried about erosion then hopefully we can convince them that our wakes are tiny. I'd also be happy to be part of a work party to tidy up that part of the shoreline. There's a ton of trash washed up in there and we could make a big difference if a bunch of us went at it for a couple of hours - try to leave the place better than we found it.
