southern thunder drag boat races coming to gadsden,al july26-29. will have a jetski class this year. this is bracket racing in different seconds classes. would like for some freestylers to show up for a show. anyone interested can pm me or call 256 312 0379 or 256 490 5004 neal.

.....Yeah if my boat runs I could prolly show up. If anything atleast to ride and ahve some fun. Depends on work schedule and other BS
 
That's a great idea Dan!

I might try to make it down there, although I think I'll still be on the injury bench, so I probably won't ride. I can throw stuff at Jesse from the bank though... :biggthumpup:

with some of the speeds the guys posted at mudbug a couple of weeks a go it might just surprise a few of the good ol' boys in bama

I'm going to come up Sunday just to watch!!!!
I use to race the OPC division of APBA outboards for years.
I even drag raced a few unlimited class outboard V-Bottoms & Tunnels
This should be a Fun Day!!!!
 
here are some of the rules, all pwc are sit down or runabout models. all boats and eqipment must pass safety inspection. 2 strokes limited to 1200cc and 4 strokes limited to 1600cc. skis over 1000cc must have a learner key for riders under 12 yrs. you may make intake grate impellar,head,supercharger, and exhaust pipe mods. fuel must be 82-110 octane with no nitrous or other fuel additives other than oil. all pwc must have a kill switch. approved life jacket, pref 4 buckle. helment a dot or snell approved racing or watercraft helment. eye protection, goggles or face shield, no sunglasses. shoes tennis shoes or aqua socks, no bare feet. numbers, class and racing number clearly visable from both sides. hope this answers some questions, cliff

i guarantee you will see impressive numbers...... probably high 80's in both 2 and 4 stroke class

a bunch were at mudbug last weekend... atleast 3 ski's went over 91.0 mph in radar runs
