I have a guy here in my class tonight that works @ KSC, he works with umbilicals on the Shuttle. He's telling me we probably won't be able to launch for a few days minimum, and maybe not before the Monday cut-off....which would hold us up till April 7th-ish. This mission is taking it's own sweet time!

Crammit and I got to see the Delta Heavy 4 launch in January and that was the most awesome thing I have ever seen/felt/heard. The only comparison I can think of is being next to a top fuel dragster when it launches.

I'd take you in if I had a car pass. I can only bring myself this time :grouphug:
After the shuttles are done, it's going to be a long wait until the Ares V launches and you get to see something comparable.
another beautiful launch! :bananapowerslide:
