Ok, first AM hull ski build. Started off as a budget build to use all SXR parts and a C.A.T.S. and then I ordered a bunch of parts and said screw it...lol

Hull: EME Aerial 8 carbon/glass layup
Pole: Blowsion new OVP full setup
Pump: C83 Skat 145
Trim: Thrust Innovations EZ Pull with reduction nozzle

Engine: 750 full ported out of a Kawasaki SXI Pro, welded crank, dual 44 Blackjacks, Vforce Reeds, Vilder Ignition, #Zero lightened flywheel, ADA head @ 180 psi.

made a mess today and got a few things done...
-started assembly of Blowsion pole
-mocked up driveshaft/pump/engine

Today's Issues:

-I need an adapter for the driveshaft...its about 2.5 inches short. I also have a mag pump issue...seems like when any load up or down is applied to the pump the impeller makes contact with the wall of the mag pump.

-My Jet Dynamic's grate is tweaked (its brand new) not very happy about that. The front mount is tweaked about 1/4 inch or more from the back mounts.

-motor seems to sit too high on motor mounts

I have a few phone calls to make tomorrow to resolve a few things...when I get more info I'll post it here.

If u need some info on assembly...u can message us or call or text...we just did a aeriel8 for the wifey...awesome ski once you get it all assembled...they is a few ways of doing the drive shaft extension... and as for motor sitting high do u have plates on top of the blocks?

No plates on the blocks...just Kawi motor mounts

Great looking hull....

I had a similar issue when installing my pump on my Q8 hull....I had to make sure to pound the driveshaft all the way into the pump with a rubber mallet and it ended up being fine

you need one of these for the shaft. Call EME they have em with the 18mm or 20mm thread in the length you need. But like bobby said make sure you pound the shaft in, before measuring or trying to get alignmentAdapters.JPG

Yea the driveshaft was set in for sure...Corey was over because I needed two people and I wanted someone else to verify I wasn't overlooking something

Talked with John Zigler and he is going to take care of my intake grate that is tweaked and had a good idea about the pump...to make sure the impeller is tight in the pump...it may have been just lightly torqued on for shipping
