If anyone has a good tip or where to mount an SXR ebox I'm open to suggestions!

Are you going to use a stock hood latch? On my kawi rok I used the stock ebox bracket. It uses the stock hood latch to mount at the top, and then I trimmed the bracket to fit at the bootom and tapped the hull next to the coupler bearing for two more M6 holes. Its a bitch to get in and out though (might not be for you, I run a stock airbox, so it might come out that side easy). .

The EME's use a ratchet. If he ran a stock hood latch he would also have to fab up hood hooks for the front.

I used 3 layers of turf on the back of my e-box, then ran bolts through the firewall/bulkhead and just tightened it down, fits fine, and is tucked back as far as it will go.

The vibrations from that motor will kill it, if it does hold up it will likely wreck your fuel tank/fill cap/hardware.

I plan to make out of stainless and put rubber isolators on the front bolts...won't be good enough?

Due to your suggestion...I redesigned my mount! When I get it finished I'm sure vibration won't be an issue.
