SPACER PLATE with DASA manifold??

I know DASA states you don't NEED a spacer plate with there intake manifold.....but every bit counts lol. and I'm considering using a FRI or ATP spacer plate on my dasa dual manifold... has anyone tried this?????

I had to use a spacer plate to run DASA manifold with vforce3 reeds on an xs1000. Pain to find the right hardware and the flame arrestors are way too close to the hull hood lip. Hits good tho
